Leagues Pick 10 Albums Everybody Should Own
by Shopify API

We're big Leagues fans. In fact, our third-ever Record of the Month was their album You Belong Here. With their most recent album Alone Together featured in our member store right now, we asked members Thad Cockrell and Jeremy Lutito to share their must-have albums:
Thad's Top Five

It's brilliant! If you look at what he was writing before this record, you can see the bravery in it. The Nashville music/publishing industry was trying to browbeat Willie into what they wanted him to be. I can't thank him enough for having the courage to walk into a sound that made him more authentic.

This was Marvin walking away from the game and writing what he couldn't help but write. It's so stunning, and the songs seemed un-written. It was less of a song that he was trying to write and more of a feeling he was trying to create. When I listen to him singing, I can feel the pleasure of God.

They took the best of all the things that make each of their albums amazing and combined it in one.

She made a record that had a social conscience. It reached the masses and changed what could be. Lauren is vulnerable, strong and encouraging without being preachy.

No words. Just turn it up very loud and listen. Thank me later.
Jeremy's Top Five

So much depth to this record. It's incredible how much more the nuances and colors shine on vinyl.

Because it's Fleetwood Mac Rumors. That tape hiss tho...

This album is so brilliantly textured and still sings so well on wax.

It's made for vinyl. It just hits in all the right places. And it's the best record of all time.

This album would sound good on a busted speaker in an echo chamber. On vinyl, it's pure heaven.
